The Imperial War Library Collection and Museum

My brother and I have a fairly large collection of military items that we have built up over several years and now keep together in our museum. Our collection now includes patches from  several army units including the 94th infantry, 1st corps infantry ,7th corps, Patton’s  third army along with many more.  We also have service bars from world war two to the present day though we have identified only a few. Our most prized possessions however are our uniforms one of which is from the Vietnam war . Most though are more recent and are from Desert storm and Urgent fury. We have Army, Air force, and Marine uniforms though no Navy ones . My brother’s favorite uniform is a Marine digital camo circa 1991. My favorite one is from the Vietnam war and the former owner was in the third armored division. Most of our collection we got at a local military surplus store and from flea markets.

Our library consists of over 100 books and almost 150 hours of documentaries and other historical videos. Most of our books we get for 1.00 or 2.00 at our library resale room or at the Goodwill book store. Some of our books are 40 or more years old but are in good condition. We specifically collect material on World War Two and the America Civil War.

We have built up our collection for almost five years and it has cost us a good deal but the result is pleasing and a very good source for finding out about wars and conflicts throughout the ages .  (article by Bear)
